Bill’s Trainers: “Venom of God”
Bill’s Trainers: After word got out that Bill, inventor of the Pokemon Storage System, could also turn people into Pokemon (and vice versa), people of all types started to come to his house to ask for a dramatic change in their life.
In many cases, it’s a dream come true, but it’s not always easy. It’s considered rude to ask if one of Bill’s Trainers started off as human or pokemon, and even worse to answer; this is done to prevent any sort of judgement one way or the other, but the side effect is that “life” effectively begins at the change, and the old life has to be left behind.
———————
“Venom of God”: He was the “bad boy” in school, and was a bad boy after he was expelled. He joined a biker gang and used upper-level pokemon in battles with newer trainers to bully them and take their money. His family gave up on him, but his partner stayed with him, encouraging him to finally change.
Unfortunately, he found out that his partner actually liked the “bad boy” and the bully side of him, and they started to fight when he tried to change - even if it was for the better. Between the old disappointment of his family and the new disappointment of his partner, he knew he had to do something entirely for himself or he was never going to be happy.
Bill asked him several times if he was sure that he wanted to be an arbok, but he was sure. He would carry with him the memories of being someone feared and continue to work to be something better than just his past and his outward appearance. When he left Bill’s laboratory, he was Samael (or, more commonly, “Sam”) and he was most definitely ready for a new life.

Thank you! I can’t remember what site I was on, but someone mentioned that a lot of snake anthros were really more like naga, and they had a similar-ish design where the focus was more on the tail. I took it a step further so that his body is on the smaller side, and he mostly uses his tail to get around instead of it just being an accessory. I’m glad you like it!
