Feel free to bash me on this, but is this Pokemon supposed to be a penguin? I heard somewhere that that is in fact what this Pokemon is supposed to represent.

It's an otter, as it's known as the "Sea Otter Pokemon". That's what the shell on its chest is supposed to allude to.

And you succeeded in making it cute! It looks pretty derpy in the traditional art, but this works pretty well.

This Pokemon looks cute, but I'm not so sure about the otter part. Looks kind of funky.

I guess I'll wait until we see its fully evolved form before I make any serious judgments about it though.
