I'm okay if you don't like my artwork. I'm okay with constructive criticizing, I'm okay with unconstructive criticizing, I'm okay with a lot of stuff. But if you don't like the artwork at least attack the person that drew the picture, not a random bystander.

Except you
A) Werent' there and are relying on second hand knowledge, which is probably skewered in a bit.
B) It didn't happen like you had it at all, as he (I'll just call him "L" from here on in) was mad at a request that the person did rather than your artwork, and therefore is completely justified in getting mad at the person.

Meh. He's getting worked up over nothing. I'll tell you the whole story.
A Friend of mine, who I won't name (NO, it's not me), didn't like the subject matter for a pic that
RustyRaccoon had commisioned Kitsunekit to do. The pic itself was good - he was just upset that Rusty would go behind his back and request a TF of that character into that creature. So, in anger, he stated that he was going to kill Rusty the next time he saw him.
Obviously, KitsuneKit here totally missed the point, or Rusty Told it to him wrong. Or both.

Well even with the discription you gave me. That still isn't right. Like you got a piece done that you like, or maybe just for fun, and then someone goes up to you and says that they will kill you because they didn't like it. That's not really nice at all.
I mean, I don't like dragon tfs. But I don't go around to eveyone that gets' them done and say I am going to harm them. You know what I mean?

A friend of Ryu's was upset with me over that pic of Ash into a donkey. Ryu recently informed me that said friend wanted to 'kill me' over the pic. As if I need that kind of **** to worry about right now.
In case anyone is wondering, I had nothing to do with this submission. I wasen't even aware of it until I came across it.
Given what happened the last time KitsuneKit posted a submission to do with an argument, I'm not sure why he did this.
*sighs* is it any wonder I tend to keep to myself?

I think that some people just take their interest in a series and/or a like of a character way too far.
IIRC (and I hope I do as I dislike lies) I commissioned the Ash into donkey pic as a joke and because I was (and still am to an extent) on a donkey tf kick. I never intended to leave him that way (so to speak) or intended it as an attack against the character. I simply liked the pose in a donkey tf and wanted to see a donkey tf.
I also like it when another member of their new (or similar anyway) species causes it and/or is with them when it happens. For example, in the Ash into Ottsel pic, who wouldn't want to be tackled by the furret? If anything, I based her off of the female squirrel from The Sword in the Stone.
The person in question likely has no idea of my motivations for doing the pic and sees it as an attack against Ash and thus seems to take it personally.

Drama, it's one thing that I think will always exist online. Why? Because it exists everywhere.
There is drama in everything. As an example, there's drama and politics at all levels of school and the workplace. There's drama when it comes to dating, drama with friends, drama with family, drama with neighbours, drama with the government, drama with technology and with so many other things.
It tends to get worse online.
Why is it worse online?
I think it's because of the impersonal and anonymous nature of the Internet. Online, people tend to be much bolder because of the perceived idea that no one knows who they really are and that they can get away with a whole lot more then they could in real life.
I find myself wondering how much of the indignation that we see is because of people having trouble differentiating between what one sees others enjoy and what we enjoy. What I mean, is indignation along the lines of 'how can you possibly find that entertaining? What kind sick monster are you?' Yeah, I admit that I'm guilty of this at times.
Take that sort of indignation, couple it with the anonymous nature of the Internet, that we're dealing with people we don't know and at times, can only see as archetypes and we end up with situations like this.
I indeed, could well be wrong. I however, think this is what's happening. But, once you get down it, I wasen't there. I don't know the people involved, the situation, or the story behind it. So, I can only speculate.
