was costumer for A Midsummer Nights Dream this semester and I wanted to make Bottoms Donkey head. So I did. It came out very nice if I do say so myself. People were completely confused as to how the jaw was moving with the talking. A dog even got scared of it on closing day. The actor who wore this head was a complete dream to work with. Brian- you did a splendid job, you brought amazing life to that head, you played Bottom splendidly and your good nature is wonderful. Thank you.
For videos of the head in action here is the scene he was in... I taped it two different days, so one is in better focus than the other... Enjoy!

Also thanks to Sonartoo for letting me borrow her headbase design- it was very efficient!
And to Monoyasha for the pointers about making the eyes
Your both awesome!

So.. you made that head for them, but they won't let you borrow it back for the con? That's pretty lame... (unless they're right in the middle of a performance of that particular play).
I've been wondering myself how to incorporate this theme into my costuming..
I'd love to see an all-fursuiter Shakespeare performance haha
