my first pc which was old as me broke year ago :c
sadly lost everything except some files on the hard disk

It's scarier than losing a computer - losing important files. My old drawings are stored somewhere in that computer, but I'm sure they are fine

Oof. I know how you feel. I had mixed emotions when I finally replaced my first computer. Excited for the new but going to miss the old.

I already have a new computer, too, but the old computer keeps memories.

Is that Dota? Oh gosh that’s my old computer too! So sorry to hear yourse is starting to give out. But hey, as scary as the initial investment on a new computer is, theyve only gotten better as the years have gone by. I’m sure your next pc project will leave you with an even better end product ^^

I can understand. A computer is a big part of your life. Spend so much time on it. Saving images. Downloading video games and programs. Use them for so many years. So much fun to be had.

Aw, that's cute, and a little sad.

I know that feeling. Your first computer excitement! Learning all those things about how to use it and make it do stuff. Playing games. Learning how the mystery box works inside. Finding and interacting with real people on the other side.

But some day it just gets old and a new thing is needed, or it breaks and can't be fixed or isn't worth fixing.

It's that feeling like when your hard drive start clicking and you didn't do backups in awhile.

It's one of those "you can never go back home" feelings.

We won't forget you old computer. Your files live on.

Which would have made it even more tragic if your computer died trying to run something from it ^_^

Things decay over time, grow old and die, tech does it just as much as any organic being. Treasure the time we have, it is always temporary.

My golden oldie is still chugging along with Windows XP. I don't plan on updating it,as I play old computer games on it. :)
