Update!
As you can see, my lovely assistant (STAY DAMMIT!) Kona posed ever so nicely in order to give the image some perspective. It still doesn't really give you a proper idea of how BIG this thing is. The top of the pilot's seat is waist level to me and I'm 6' 2". To say it's sturdy is an understatement, but we'll know for sure when it's finished and the screaming meme's - pardon - the grandchildren are flight testing it.
I have yet to permanently afix the body to the undercarriage, but those attachments will be furniture bolts so it can come apart. Then will come the fabric covering, and paint.
There is much yet to do, but mostly it's detail work. Yesterday, when I moved the undercarriage into the family room for working comfort, I uttered a few not so nice words when I realized how big this really was.
Partially hidden by Kona's flank are the details of the bottom half, which is painted with ground and flowers. The wheel appears to be in the air as it is above the color.
Cheers...

Makes perfect sense to me. I don't know if I've ever mentioned my black cat's name. Me-you. She got that name when she was a TINY kitten (four weeks old when we found her). She would explore our house and after she started missing me, she would cry, "Me-you! Me-you!" I would answer back and she'd come running to me.
* hug back *
here. I'm home after a day of work. now I can write with a translator. (much more convenient from a computer). An effective girlfriend and the work turned out to be wonderful.
along the way. Live until this Monday, and go on two weeks of unpaid leave. a familiar fox will arrive, and my friend manticore is visiting now. so the coming weeks promise to be busy.
I wish you a good time, my friend. Take care of yourself!
