More Tsutaja, the "Grass Snake" Pokemon - which just happens to have arms and legs.
This was an experiment in trying to speed up my comic artwork - I stripped out a lot of the unnecessary processes and flashy artwork effects to focus on pushing out a comic as quickly as possible.
I finished this comic in around 6 hours, give-or-take. This is about 1/10th of the time it has been taking me to finish comics previously.
I'll probably be aiming to create comics in this new style from now on, but I do have some older unfinished comics which use my old artworking methods so I'll try to finish those up eventually.
I had real trouble drawing Tsutaja at first - its eyes are so huge in relation to the rest of its body it took me a good few attempts to get them looking right. I think I have the hang of drawing Tsutaja now though.
Please leave comments regarding my new comic art style if you feel you have something to say.
Update: On 23 November 2010, the Western name for the 'Grass Snake Pokemon' was announced as 'Snivy'.

Well, at least they are only starters for like the first 20 minutes of gameplay... Look at Piplup. Who would think that he would go from overly-simplistic and cutesy to the decked-out badass Empoleon who's HG/SS dex entry reads "It avoids unnecessary disputes, but it will decimate anything that threatens its pride." "Decimate" is a word we can hope and dream will apply to the battle prowess of the final evolutions of this next generation of starters.
Dude Empolean, like all the 4th gen starters do not impress me in the least.
Here's Blastoise's flavor text: The rocket cannons on its shell fire jets of water capable of punching holes through thick steel
Typhlosion's flavor text: 1 If its rage peaks, it becomes so hot that anything that touches it will instantly go up in flames
and
2 It has a secret, devastating move. It rubs its blazing fur together to cause huge explosions
I would take any of the gen 1-3 starters over a 4th gen in a heartbeat

I stand by my firm belief as a herpeteculturist that Tsutaja is, in reality, a skink. But it would fill me with nerdglee if they made it lose its limbs and become a grass/ground type in reference to how snakes evolved from lizards to burrow on a Darwinian level before they came back up topside to become what they are now.
Snivy: i am sorry...
Seviper: My friend Arbok doesn't like you either. you better watch yourself.
Snivy: Well i will be careful
Seviper: YOU'LL BE DEAD!!!
ok so that was the first thing that came into my mind... partially because i am watching starwars.
comic makes humorous sence lol
