YES! Kimahri and Yugo are the best damn thing. Honestly, I can't wait to see the lewd doodles... damn.
But yeah! He's definitely got that Final Fantasy style of "lots of super complicated gear that serve absolutely no function nor purpose" going on for him. Still, enjoyable to see!
