Wounded Coyote is one of the first TITANs created by the Federal Administration (F.A), developed from Project: GOLIATH, captured & reverse engineered from the Entente of Independent Republics (EIR), at the conclusion of WWIII. Once the Cure came into existence and began assimilating and consuming the exhausted forces of humanity, rapidly taking over large territories, the F.A needed a wonder weapon to try to stop their terrible advance, this lead to the modification to the EIR's Goliath Project, to create Project: TITAN. Now, after many years of fighting, Wounded Coyote's armor is nearly as beat up and patched up as the man who wears it; having been modified to account for his prosthetic mouth and left arm.

Vat-grown from cultures of the TITAN, the armor of every TITAN is as much a part of them as any other limb, acting as a removable exoskeleton which is maintained by a mixture of of a nutrient slosh, and internal batteries, while being able to feed off of the TITAN's own internal reactor while in operation. The connectivity between the TITAN and their armor allows for incredible reaction and interface between both, and a limited ability from each to sustain the functions of the other in extreme conditions. While it's possible for other TITANs to wear the suit of another, it reduces the syncing capability between the two and limits the TITAN's considerable lethality by 7.8% to 13.887% depending on Incompatibility.
