Here she is -- the queen of the Duat, Isis! (Also known as Aset or Iset, of course. "Isis" is her Greek name... And is liable to get you put on a government watch list if you search it, unfortunately.)
Anywho, Isis and her sister Nephthys go hand-in-hand with each other. They're twins and are almost identical; they're also the same height as each other, so they're both getting put out today!
Like Hathor, the girls bring out everything when it comes to their makeup. Malachite, kohl, red ochre, and henna -- except the twins can't put henna on their toes, seeing as, well... They've got birdlike feet. Isis also has a shawl in her general attire that she ditches when she wants to look fancy; she pulls out an usekh and a beautiful Egyptian lotus flower instead. Lotuses in the Hellenistic period were associated heavily with Isis, so I decided to pay homage to that in her full regalia.
The magical projection can be summoned at any time; it's basically the gods' ways of looking bigger, more intimidating, or more regal. I stuck it on her full regalia appearance, but Isis (along with everyone else) can actually call on it at will.
Making Isis and Nephthys harpy-like creatures might be a little unconventional -- most of the time, they're depicted as human women that sometimes have wings... I decided to make them a lot more "birdy," though, as I like the idea of Horus getting some of his bird traits from somewhere! So, seeing as Isis is his mother, I upped the animal-ness of the twins.
Poor Isis has been through a whole lot. A lot of people who follow TCotC either love her or hate her -- personally, as her creator, I like her well enough.
