your coloring skills aren't bad

But this piece definitely was a black and white drawing the way it was drawn.
The composition of colors is different from monochrome pictures, not to forget the difficulty of psychadelic coloring.

I think it's still good but the coloring of the background looks a bit incoherent.
I'd suggest to use colors that are neighbors in the color spectrum and vary these in form and texture, blend into each other in some areas etc.
Looks trippy as well

however it still looks good and I like it
you got the skills you just need some practice I guess
