Finally did the reference for this species I’ve created some time ago. Philikkahn is an open species, I believe.
—Updated Info—
Basics:
Philikkahns are mammalian creatures, born with a crystalline gem known as Soul Gem embedded on their chest. Each Soul Gem can come in various shapes and colors. Additional gemstones can also be found alongside the Soul Gem as part of the creature’s body.
The Soul Gem is the life source of all Philikkahns and the crucial part of their body. If the Soul Gem were to be damaged, the Philikkahn would be incapacitated and suffer tremendous pain. The Soul Gem cannot repair itself without external help and if it were to be destroyed, the Philikkahn would perish.
—
Subspecies:
There are five known subspecies of Philikkahns which are:
1. Kyuki, a cat-like subspecies, stands between 45-75 cm from head to feet.
2. Koyu, a dog-like subspecies, stands between 65-115 cm from head to feet.
3. Mukit, a fox-like subspecies, standing between 50-90 cm from head to feet.
4. Yubi, a rabbit-like subspecies, standing between 55-85 cm from head to feet.
5. Saki, a hybrid subspecies, stands between 40-400 cm from head to feet.
—
Naming:
The name of the subspecies is used as the suffix of the name for each Philikkahn.
Ex. Remikyuki is part of the Kyuki subspecies.
—
Abilities:
In terms of abilities, each Philikkahn possesses a regeneration and their own special ability/abilities. All gemstones on the body of every Philikkahn glow whenever they use their special abilities or regeneration.
Regeneration:
- Each Philikkahn is capable of repairing and regrowing any part of their body so long as their Soul Gem remains intact. The time it takes to regenerate depends on the extent of the injury and can be overwhelming if the wound is too fatal.
Special Ability/Abilities:
- Each Philikkahn normally inherited a special ability from one of their partners, often their mother’s ability. In some rare cases, they can either develop their own unique ability or inherit both of their parents’ abilities.
- The most common ability a Philikkahn can learn is Telekinesis and the most valued ability is Heal as it’s the only ability that can repair damaged Soul Gems and speed up their regeneration to almost instant.
—
Biology:
Philikkahns can come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, allowing them to adapt to a variety of conditions. Most of them take after their mother which is why a majority of their population is feminine. Most Philikkahns are quadruples, but some can be bipeds if they desire.
Philikkahns stop aging as they reach adulthood, making them immortal. The transition from infancy to adulthood normally lasts from 10 months to 3 years, depending on their subspecies. Any wound received during the transition may become a permanent scar once they turn adult.
—
Sociability:
The social behavior of the Philikkahns is dictated by their birthplace and current home. The Philikkahns born in the wild tend to be more cautious and aggressive than those born in colonies, but can still be tamed and integrated into the colonies with enough time which they have plenty of.
—
Diet:
Philikkahns are omnivores. Their diet consists of vegetables, fruits, berries, and fish. However, Philikkahns born in the wild tend to hunt other Philikkahns as food, and sometimes even farm and harvest their meat while keeping them alive.
—
Habitat:
Thanks to their adaptability, Philikkahns can live in various places. A number of them can even live underwater.
—
Reproduction:
Philikkahns reproduce the same way mammals do. However, a female can only conceive an offspring once every 20 years and give birth to one kit at a time. Each pregnancy normally can last around 2-3 months. A female can normally have only 3 kits at most in their lifetime, though this limitation can be reset by getting rid of their former body in favor of the newly regenerated one.
—
Sickness and Death:
Despite being immortal, Philikkahns are still vulnerable to physical injuries, exhaustion, starvation, and diseases. If they were to catch a lethal disease that could render their regeneration useless, they would be forced to remove the Soul Gem from their sick body.
When the gem is extracted from their chest, their old body becomes just dead meat, but the creature survives thanks to their Soul Gem being capable of regenerating a whole new healthy body in a day from just their Soul Gem. Philikkahns cannot die by natural causes, the only way to kill them is to destroy their Soul Gem.

Wooow..., I can see that this took a lot of thinking and it is well thought through. I feel that you are not one of the typical NSFW artists. I personally find your art style(s) somewhat special. It has alot of details and decent... ya know... anime touch, but is not filled the "anime bullshit" kind of stuff and it feels most real out of all I have seen. I kinda ran into you while I was just searching some digital artwork on google just from my "morbid curiosity" and find a SFW pic of yours, got interrested and it took me to e6, where is mostly the other type of pics, but your work was soo good, that I stayed. Anyway, keep doing the great work and most importantly keep doing what YOU enjoy doing (I mean also outside of art), because in the end, thats what the life is about. Enjoing it.
Have a great day Mr. Kaimon
