Got just a minute to do some personal art.

Jaheem is a naga, a Black Mamba at that. He lives in a world where a lot of supernatural creatures are now "pets" to humans. Not all, but a fair portion of them. More or less, the more rare and exotic your "pet" the higher your status. For many nobles, this is the only important thing.
Jaheem doesn't care to be ordered around by any human, so he switches "masters" frequently. He does what he wants and finds most people quite predictable and boring.
But he came across one human who, despite having money and status, was still very independent. Not only did Alfonzo Romero III (or Roman) not have an interest in having "pets". . .but he didn't need help from anyone. He was intelligent, well groomed, and surprisingly well mannered.
Jaheem has taken an interest in this gentleman and is currently enjoying the challenge of figuring out what makes him tick~
