Not your typical lap in the pool, but an improvement, I'd say! Zen relaxes in the water with 
d6016's Bear. It's a similarly-themed picture to the sketch he made last night.
Zen's aviation goggles are swapped for swimming goggles here. Dee also came up with Zen's tattered-looking swimsuit design. It's kinda amazonian-inspired, which is ironic, considering she's only about four inches tall!
This was sketched in Open Canvas, and all the watercolour-style colours were actually made in Illustrator. Yeah, that's vector! Lastly, the water effects were done in Photoshop.

It was 500! And it sort of is inspired by the swimming I've been doing, but not specifically by that long swim. I've been meaning to do a pool-themed picture for a while. Were it a direct homage to my own aquatic accomplishments, I'd draw my own fursona, instead of Zen.
