The world's a messed up place right now. FYI, all cryptocurrencies using mining-based distribution (so, almost every single one) are a pyramid scheme, but people seem to have no problem funding those.
The measure of a good business is whether you can make it work. Convincing someone of the viability of your idea is basically pointless at the moment since the most readily funded ideas are literal pyramid schemes (lol).

I consider myself somewhat of an art critic. :p
Your art is basically technically sound yet also has a lot of personal character. That's difficult to pull off but it seems about normal for your work. You've also improved quite a bit since just last year. There was a sort of staleness in the perspective caused by slight inconsistency that you've steadily worked out. If there's one thing I'd still look to consolidate it's the sketchy outline.
Really, you wouldn't be the first artist to see someone draw photorealism and get angsty about never reaching that level. Thing is, that's their style and you have your style. There's nothing wrong with that. Moreover, if everyone drew the same quality of work it'd all just look like real life and that's pretty boring. This was actually a common criticism of AAA games just a few years ago and is why Borderlands, No Mans Sky, and several other major games back then intentionally went with unusual styles. Now you can scroll down the "upcoming games" list on IGN and there's barely any photorealism. As with any form of art; it's all how you look at it.
