[[NOT MY ART]]Of Mana and Its Properties
The most basic principle a spellweaver learns when experimenting with magic is the existence of Mana. An invisible, intangible energy field that permeates the entire world. Without it, magic would be entirely impossible to perform. Not only that, orin and other creatures of Altreak would find it hard to perform feats and abilities that were once a breeze to accomplish. This is because all living entities, not just spellweavers, tap into Mana. The average oro does this subconsciously, without even realizing it. The rogue who deftly dodges out of the way of a particularly explosive trap; the mercenary who leaps high into the air to descend upon enemies and cleave them in two: these are but two examples of feats not possible when Mana is absent.
While Mana is naturally present in the world around us, there are areas where it fails to reach. These are called Manaless Pockets. At first, one might confuse a Manaless Pocket with that of an Anti-Magic Field: both areas prevent a spellweaver from casting. But Manaless Pockets have a few key distinctions. For example, Anti-Magic Fields block spells from entering the field. Manaless Pockets do not! Sufficient energy has already been provided to manifest the spell, so if a mage were to send a fireball into the Manaless Pocket, the fireball spell would continue to function as normal. Manaless Pockets also do not actively filter out Mana: an oro or Mana Crystal brought into a pocket will retain its charge, until it is sufficiently drained by the spellweaver or another process.
I have theorized that there are large parts of the Universe where Mana has not yet spread. Indeed, I have been to places where Mana was not present. Why, then, was I able to cast spells in such places with no difficulty? It is because of my draconic heritage. Dragons on Altreak have the innate ability to generate their own Mana. Why they have such an ability is beyond my understanding at this point in time, but it seems that my mother has passed this trait on to me. I can travel the void of space and cast with no difficulty; I can recover from being fully drained more rapidly than other mages. Indeed, if someone were to discover this about myself, I shudder to think of the possibilities that could arise from it.

So,
neopuc had won a YCH, and he wanted Danathius to be the little mage featured in this wonderful and gorgeous piece! I was more than happy to oblige! Who wouldn't want to be on Kageroe's paw pad? <3 He's quite the stud, after all!
Be sure to check out
neopuc's page if you love this kind of content! He has a wide array of character, many of whom were among my first crushes when I got into this site. You can also check out Neopuc's upload here!

*Looks around exploring the vast landscape of paw from toeclaw to heel* Its beautiful! Such a lovely piece and my kind of dream as a micro and paw lover. The size difference is my favorite and I'd happily get lost in his orange fur forest in between his sexy toes. The smell and taste must be AMAZING~3
