EEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I'm poly too and this is just AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! And yeah, I never did get the colors of the poly flag. Like, the pi symbol I get, but the colors look like something I'd slap on the flag of a fake country.

♥ I like the colors in THEORY--blue for openness/honesty, red for love, black as solidarity for those of us forced to hide our relationships. Those are all lovely and good sentiments (well, black is a little sad, but I don't mind its presence) but ugh, those colors just don't look nice together. Of course, I hate pairing red and blue in general. (And it is very nationalistic, isn't it? Might just be me being American, but red/blue does feel very much like a country flag.) I never liked the pi version either, even if I get the symbolism, but I think that's just because I hate math, lmao.

If I was any good at this kind of thing I'd design my own polyamory flag and do an alternate version of these unicorns in those colors as a sneaky way to try and spread it, but that is far beyond my knowledge or skillset, lmao.

Why do you feel left out? Nothing about being poly is incompatible with being ace or straight.

All these Unicorns, (my own Av is a morphic Unicorn, albeit in a wheelchair) but none of them for the Straight people. this comment was placed at the end of a string of pictures, and I did not fit into any one of them.

I've seen a few floating around, but nearly all of them keep the red/blue/black/gold colors, which unfortunately is my main problem...I just don't like all those colors together, even if I like them individually. Some of the lighter/slightly tone-shifted versions are definitely much easier on the eye compared to the original, though, I'll admit that. But I'll see if I can dig up those two designs you mentioned, in case I missed them!

Oh, I have stumbled across those two before, though I didn't see the original write-up Molly did on her design and all the thought she put into it. I'm a little hesitant on both since Heckscaper/Emma's version is, while lovely, so close to the original colors that it doesn't feel like much of a change, and Molly's colors are awfully close to the MLM flag. (But reading her thoughts behind her design did help...I might make an alternate version of my unicorns based on her flag...) I guess to a certain extent though, there's only so many pleasing color combinations you can work with that have the meanings you want, haha.

Both are lovely though, superior to the original in my opinion, and I DEFINITELY agree about the infinity heart being a better symbol than pi (possibly in part because math is my mortal enemy so I don't want any reminder of it, lol).
