The only way a dragonite can indicate it fully trusts it's human is to let the trainer/buddy hug it without backing away. Kai for a while when he wants to hug me he is the only one who does... i don't return the hug... but tonight was a different night. Kai looks to me and says, "hey... i have a question." i respond with, "yeah go ahead" "do... you want to sleep with me tonight? i know you have been wanting to do that since i got better, and i was still having issues with trusting you... but you treated me with kindness, respect, and even love," he responded, "every time I sleep i think of how you have been able to try to make me crack a smile even when i was down... and i feel i can completely trust you with my life..." I chuckled a little bit,... then i saw his face, which had the look of sincerity and humbleness. I only realized at that moment he wasn't joking. "you trust me that much?" i asked in amazement. "yeah..." said kai with a little smile, "I would love it if you want to give a hug as you sleep!" I see he is blushing a very light pink an i go over and tell him with a smile, "yeah! i would not mind at all!" Kai smiles much bigger and we head to his bed where we go to sleep, embracing one another for the firt time ever
