Alittle Context behind this weeks Prompt of Nightmare.
This art is based on a real dream that I had since I was 12 years old. It’s a reoccurring dream I have once to twice a year and still have it to this day.
I do not know what the dream is truly about but it starts with me floating on my bed in a endless vast of black goop. I can vaguely see my house layout such as the room I am in to the walls and etc. but it’s all shrouded in shadows and the goop. Black ink like goop drips down the walls filling up the room. Black shadow like hands reaching out of the goopy waters onto my mattress and trying to grab me. Shadow figures standing by the wall. Some of them have their heads bowed while others are looking up with glowing white eyes watching and staring. And I always wake up when a shadowy hand grabs me.
I do not know what would happen if I fall into the goop. All I know is this dream is very unsettling and it creeps me out and still scares me! And this is the first and will be the last time I draw this dream in detail like this.
Idk if this should need a warning?
