‘Any last requests, before the finale?’
“Smuther may not be the most powerful of the villains on the island, or much of a fighter,… but she certainly can be very difficult to deal with,…
Getting too close means risking get caught in her sandy dress, and sinking down into it,… which is a real problem for a close range fighter, like myself,… not that my weapons have much effect anyway, just passing right through her,…
The best way I’ve found to deal with her is to lead her away from bogs and water, and let her dry out and crumble,… she pulls herself back together in time, but still,… and the best way to do that is to distract her by playing to her ego,… asking for ‘On-cores’ and ‘Auto-Graphs’,… keeping her singing or performing until I can escape.
Escape would be really nice right now, actually,… she took me by surprise, and took control of a bog to use against me,… I need to buy myself some time,… and I think I just had an idea that should give me about fifteen minutes to work with.”
‘Hmm? What’s that? …. Hmm,… well, that is abit outside my typical genre,… but it’s certainly nothing someone of MY talent can’t handle,…’
‘Oh, right,… you certainly can’t hear very well from down there,… and we don’t want you slipping under before the song is over, and missing my magnificent performance,…’
‘Okay,… if you’re all propped up and ready,…’

The ‘Villain Sho-Case’ comes to a close, for now, with the villainess that many of my watchers have likely been waiting for, the one and only, Smuther, presented by
shonuff44 and with an unintended guest appearance by Ember, who seems to be having trouble with her sandy foe at the moment.
Such a magnificent rendition of the Quicksand Diva in all her sandy, ego-driven, glory. She truly does look very lovely and shapely in Sho’s style, with a sensual feminine charm to her,… and a sinister side shining through from beneath the glamour, with that blue eye gazing out from her hair down at her foe. I love the wrinkles and creases in her dress, the fullness of her hair, and of course how Sho beautifully capture the sparkling of her hair and dress. I like Sho’s take on her microphone, removing the stand hand having the cord draping around and wrapped around hand, almost gives the impression she is idly playing with the cord, which is a very nice touch. The transition between dress and quicksand is so wonderfully done, not only in the gradient of color, but in the increase in goopiness as you move down her form, you really get the feeling she could either be forming up from the muck, or oozing down into it. I wasn't expecting the wall of muck behind her, but it's a nice touch, very ominous,… especially with that glimpse of the darkening sky at the top beyond it,… and really does enhance the feeling of how in control of this situation she seems to be, which of course is quite bad for Ember. This picture has such a great feeling of fluid movement, between her own shifting form, to the dripping and oozing wall behind her, to the bits clinging to Ember’s hand, the whole picture feels alive and moving. And I love the perspective here as well, you really get the feel that you are looking up at her from the surface of the mire, and of course Ember’s struggling hand punctuates who exactly it is that is looking up at her from that low vantage point. As Ember says, Smuther may not be her most powerful villain, but this picture really shows just how dangerous she can be for the Island Guardian,… hopefully her plan works.
Thank you for this simply breath-taking picture, ShoNuff44. :D
What do you think? :D
And can you guess what song was requested? ;).
