people just seem to not get it. nearly every drawing ive seen of him always messes up the face and sometimes body too. but the face always. It always bugs me that some of the most popular images on FA of Sylvester (usually due to artists fame, the erotic subject, and if the digital art is super good) seem to lack actually getting the characters look down right. You clearly understand it much better than others.
You seem to have practiced the standard method of traditional gestural cartooningl. building the frame with quick sweeps and concentration on nailing movement and expression. I never learned that. My method has always been laborious constructiona nd retooling an image and using references as i go till i get the toon looking as best i can. I weish i could have learned your method, but my techique has made me very keen on paying attention to small details of the characters make.
I have some naughty pics i have of Sylvester in the works i may have done in some time. I love these kinda toons. I also always have seen Sylvester as being half otter half cat because of how his body is built which is a lot more like a mustelid than a feline.
