Today I did a big dumb and blew $75 of my SUPER-LIMITED funds on some upgraded music software, Mixcraft 9 Studio, believing my previously owned copy of Mixcraft 7 was unrecoverable.

Plot twist: I had to sign in to an "Acoustica" account, (thinking I didn't already own one) to receive my installation code. And on this new account that actually wasn't a new account but just me signing in with my email that I used to get Mixcraft 7 a few years ago?????? Turns out at the same page to get my product code, was also the "here's your previously owned products! Would you like to **REINSTALL** your **OWNED COPY** of Mixcraft 7??" page. For real.

On the bright side (I say "bright side" with the brightness supplied by my whole world being on fire), it does have some new features I'll certainly be using. Well, that is, if I can ever get more advanced than throwing loops together with special effects plugged in. Whatever, I'll get there eventually. ..... I hope.

Anyways, this short and embarrassingly noob-level "track" was thrown together in like 15 minutes to give it a try, and because I'll be needing a short intro track for a new video series. These premade loops SUCK, but I can't ever translate what I come up with in my head into MIDI, even though I've tried my best several times for like over 10 years at this point. Though I did find some success in making the "SiCk AnD GrOoVy" vomit-worthy excuse for a """"metal track"""" sound a bit more distorted, so I'm excited for what else I might be able to pull of. Plus ya know, maybe actually getting around to creating my own tunes from scratch this time.
