I couldn't think of anything more disgusting than some blue-stocking complaining
about public displays of love or kindness.
The characters are a random pair of lynxes, and the hen on the right is a character
called Fanny McPeck, who is an overbearing control freak who, like many folks that
are like-minded, wants the world to obey THEIR WHIMS.
The lady doth protest too much methinks.
