The separation of Hiccup and his best friend Toothless was heartbreaking. But for the young chief of Berk, it seemed to be the best choice, to let his dragon go away with the love of his life, and guide the other dragons to their own fated home. Little did he know that the lightfury who caused all of this wasn't the wild dragoness she looked to be : she actually was the pet dragon of a shady alchemist, and has been raised to lure naive dragons into his lair. Thus, she led the nightfury to her master's island, into a trap that made him at his mercy. To gain control of the drgon flock, the dark scholar transformed Toothless, the alpha, into a harmless curvaous girl alongside his lightfury "friend" (to whom he gave a special cup size enhancement as a reward for her good job). The future of dragonhood is now in the hands of the alchemist, the king of dragons, and his lovely wives. Toothless is less eager than his girlfriend, but he'll get used to it eventually. Her new master will take good care of her, and will be more than happy to conceive many nightfury babies with her.
