somewhere inside the elder dragon temple at the Capital City, one of the Naga Monk, Rita Sanji was slithering across the hallways, reaching for the elder dragon alter. Today was important day, which involved her parents. Today would had been her parents anniversary, but they died from an accident, which token their lives. Rita felt sad of what happened to both of her parents, she carried a picture of them, to help her remind herself of how they looked before their death. In the picture she could her parents hugging their two children, which happened to be her, and her formal brother Sunset. Rita know that her formal brother became Sunrise, and she grateful to have her as a sister. They do their best to reach each other by letters, making sure they won't lose one another. Rita haven't seen her sister in years, and still thinking about visiting her one day. But part of her still wasn't sure if she was ready to see Sunset. Rita look behind, and saw her Naga figure, remembering that she changed into a hybrid naga/dragon like the rest of the monks. Rita knows that her sister had a fear of snakes, especially she remember the time that a family of garden snakes landed in, Sunrise bed. While her mind was thinking about of what to do meeting her sibling, Rita accidentally bumps into someone, which broken her concentration of thought. Rita came back to reality, so she can see who she bump into. She pause for a moment, seeing another naga in high priestess outfit. Rita was stunned that she bump into the high priestess Mirage by accident, Rita never had the chance to meet her in person, but she heard rumors that she can be mean if you done something wrong. Mirage look at her with a sinister look in her eye, wondering who dare bump into her. Rita startled a bit, trying to figure out what to do, all she done was bow down to the high priestess, begging her forgiveness. Mirage look at the monk wondering what she was doing, she ask the monk to get up from the floor, even telling her stop acting like the ones who trying to kiss her butt or something. Rita was blushing from embarrassing herself, she did what the priestess said, and stood up in front of her. Rita apology the high priestess for bumping into her, she explained that she was thinking about her little sister, which she haven't seen in years. Mirage understand what, Rita was saying, even told her that she haven't seen either her siblings, or her parents in ages. Mirage ask her if she was thinking about seeing her sister, Rita told she wanted too, but said that she need more time to stay in the temple, just to finish up her training first. Mirage a bit disappointed that, Rita wasn't gonna go, but understood that she was new, and had to finish up her training. Whoever, Rita said something to her, which catches Mirage interest. Mirage turned back to her, asking Rita where her sister was living. Rita said that Sunrise was living at "Treavor Town" which happened to be her home town too. Mirage smiled to herself, knowing the name of that town. Not only that town is her home from the future, but also where her past mother, Mascot is. Mirage slither close to, Rita gently speak to her asking if there was anything that would help her changed her mind about visiting her little sister. Rita most definitely wants to see, Sunrise, but like she said before, she must finished up her training before anything. Mirage sinister smiled appear her face, adding something that she know would change her mind. Mirage tell her that visiting family is one of the many test a monk must take, but she explained that this test is only giving out by the high priest. Mirage pointed herself saying that she going to give, Rita that special mission. Rita couldn't believe that she was going to get a special mission, especially one given by the high priestess herself. Part of her didn't want to say no, so she immediately accepted the honor. Mirage was pleased that, Rita accepted her important mission, she explained to her that tomorrow morning that she had to leave the temple, and head for "Treavor Town" Rita understood that part, but she the high priestess what she was going to do there, beside seeing her little sister. Mirage told her that there is an important person she must protect. Mirage also mention that the person is from the ancient text that talk about the great being that would bring peace in the world. Rita was a bit amazed that she going to protect someone from the ancient text, Rita bow to the high priestess, thanking her for the great honor. Rita wave goodbye to high priestess, and continued slither across the hallways for the main alter. Mirage smiled to herself knowing that she done a good job. Back of her mind, she still think about her family from the future, seeing her sisters and older brother being their usual self. However, Mirage personal thoughts with her mom still something personal to her. Mirage love her mother very much, but the things she said to her, before running still hurt her a lot. Mirage may look a sinister woman with nothing to lose, but losing the trust from her mother, are some scares that can't be healed very easily.
