A picture for
of his two OC's Élise and Anselme.
When you are blamed for something you did not personally cause, how do you protect yourself?
How do you protect the ones you love?
Covid has created a world of chaos. 210k deaths in the US alone.
People tend to want to attach themselves to something to fault. Whether it's a person, a place, or thing, some people just take comfort in taking out their anger one whatever it is.
In the furry realm, Élise Liliac the bat is one of many bats who is mistreated. Thankfully, Anselme Duterrier the mole came to her rescue.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that whole ‘bat soup’ rumour that came around right at the start of this.
It’s funny how people initially thought the cause was from a can of tainted soup instead of a leak from a Chinese biology/immunology lab designed to test and alter the genetic makeup of diseases and viruses, that was at least partially funded by certain US conglomerates. Not to mention the second, albeit slightly different strain that originated in Europe prior to February that wasn’t properly reported.
Scary times we’re living in right now. I’m really hoping that everyone comes out of this relatively unscathed.
