I honestly get a little creeped out when I see huge carpets of BTAs, honestly. But I can see the appeal and I do like the individual 'nems, especially a lot of the recent colored varieties that have become commonplace in the aquarium trade these days.
They are a pain to keep under control, though. I've read stories on reefkeeping forums of someone putting in a single BTA only to end up with over a dozen and no idea what to do with them over the course of six months.
