Since drawing hamsters and pygmy jerboas was fun, I decided to take a shot at designing a Geoterran Hamster. It hits all the notes--random (yet natural-looking) extra stripes, big teeth, just a touch of stylization, maybe it spits little seeds like a machine gun when it's angry or in danger.
The design needs a bit of tweaking (and maybe the same glorious anime mullet I love to draw on everything else I draw), but I'm mostly happy with it.

What about jellyfish? Those are animals too... I mean, they're pretty much just evil bags, but they're still technically animals.
