That was not the point. The point was to prove that in the end the bad luck thing it apply only to totally random games and start to falter a bit when skill is into play.
Albeit a)there could have been better examples and b)she could have split evenly the bet so to get a sure return. That is how you bet on black or white.

For the most part yes. In part it was the subcosncious refusal to admit that her fall as manager was due her hubris and actions(or lack of action). Then the "Misfortune cookie" name started to go around, and she started to believe it.

Well, you have to give Muko a cookie for being hopeful and supportive. For me though I would be rather hesitant to gamble with what little money I have in my possession.

Cookie's line in the first panel kills me, lol. Way to make suicide look and sound funny by being too poor to afford a hanging rope, lol. I like how Muko is displaying a strong optimism, believing that the 10 Moni Cookie won are what she needs to make a comeback. It's unlikely, but it's still a nice sentiment that applies to other circumstances, like their Combagal career.

I loved how crazy-animated Muko's face is in the bottom left panel when she was going "No, no, no, don't give up now!" Dai is at his best with how the three ladies' express themselves in this chapter.

After all this time, i believe that the whole curse thing is basically not a real thing, its that the games have to be rigged, now remember where and what world muko and cookie live in.

These big shots that run everything with money are basically sharks. So they control who gets to be rich and who gets to be poor.

Unless Cookie and Co. Find a a loophole in this awful system, or they'll keep hitting rock bottom.
