This is the final drawing I made for class. Meet Samuel! He's the son of Ophelia and Rafael. He was only seven years old when his father was taken from him. Put into the care of sorcerers by his mother, he was escorted to safety before the last remaining monster attacked his home. The Everblade, recovered from the battlefield, was passed down to him, and he saw his father's spirit when he touched the blade. After discovering that he could summon his father's ghost and that his spirit could grant him strength and protection, he rushed to the monster that slayed his parents and killed it with the help of his sorcerer guardians. Though he was scolded at for being reckless, especially since he was so young, he and his father realized what a good team they made. Because of this, they decided that, when he was older, Rafael would train Samuel in the art of sword combat. Together, they became the first iteration of their family line's greatest warrior: The Spirit Knight. It then became a tradition to pass down the Everblade to Rafael and Samuel's descendants so they may train under Rafael and become the next Spirit Knight, just as Samuel did.
