I'm gonna get Brushes tomorrow and see how that is, so far I'm digging Sketchbook Pro and just how much I can customize a brush. I imagine a stylus would make sketching much less undo-spamming!
The iPad hate is more than likely from people who think Apple = Pretentious Hipster BS or don't quite comprehend the roles the device is capable of filling at an amazing degree. I could have gotten a Cintique instead of a 64 gig iPad for about 150 or so more, but the I can't take the Cintique with me to friends houses, or on planes/trains/car rides and upload/send pics for later work to my computer right then and there, so it definitely serves a useful purpose.
