Can't help but think of the Landschneckt mercenaries with this kind of outfit and weapon choice.

This cute fellow certainly reminds one of rich and famous Landsknecht troops that were famous for being about the only reasonable counter unit for Swiss pikemen and halberdiers.
You got the torso doublet looking good and proper. The knee-high pants look good and so does his hat. Plus the two handed Zweihänder-blade looks good and proper, complete with the ricasso part.
