It is a model of a '59 Chevy El Camino. They were the concept of an automobile built as a pick up truck.
This is the same make and model car featured in my Inkbunny story, Clarence Coyote and Project Courier. In the story, the dad of two pit bull high school bullies (Biff and Richie) is a residential general building contractor (Reginald Pitbull). This El Camino is a one year old car in the story as the story takes place in the year 1960. This is the car that Reginald drives to check on construction sites he has going...It's handy to bring equipment or materials out to job sites that any of his hired crews might need.
In addition to the El Camino, Reginald and his wife, Diana, also own a blue 1960 Cadillac, and a gold and white 1959 Cadillac...Reginald lets the sons, Biff and Richie use the '59 Cadillac.
