AI-reen-ah AH-ree-oh


This has got to be my favorite comm so far. Not only did I get free reign here, but it was for a fakemon they provided that I worked off of.
All they gave me was this pokemon and to make it look like a fire/grass type.

Now I had to stretch this design a bit; not just slapping titties, I wanted character.
So I did some digging for connections based on what its looks. Searched for mongoose, badgers, and finally found something when I looked up bears.

Not a lot of symbolism comes from bears and trees but there's one deity.
The Celtic bear goddess Artio, both druid and defender of the woods. Though she's associated with spring, I think the
fiery look of autumn leaves work for the fire type and compliments the green well.

The Celtic braids where a nice touch to really sell the culture she's based on, I hope I did it justice. I was scrolling for a while to make sure everything matched and I wasn't just getting Nordic or Greek braids.
Only gripe I have is the pose; I have to make it simple for referencing purposes but given the chance I'd love to give her a broad sword, or a staff.
