It was SO. nice to just have fun with a nice oekaki session with 
tonight. I needed a break from commissions so bad, that's basically all I've been drawing for the past several months with one or two things for myself in there somewhere.
Kiki drew her characters Yaku & Yakuma on the right side, and I drew the smiling white beast whom Kiki has named Sandman as I have given the character to her. The big blue thing in the background is Death, basically, and I drew him as well. She coloured everything but the death monster, as I am slow and don't know how to use a tablet <_<
note: that lovely golden fuckup of a line going across the twins on the bottom was MY fault, my hand slipped. Oops :(

Ohh man, I love the twins and their masks, so simplistic yet expressive! *art-critic mode disengaged*
Now, that big blue thing though....totally makes me think of an old episode from Star Trek, wanna say it was the Doomsday Device or Machine...and I can't help but like Sandman, I think it's the smile.
If you don't mind my askin' though, where did you get the idea for the smiling beast?
