Found this little kitten in our apartment at 5:30 this morning screaming its head off. It took a while to coax her to get near me and then into the apartment. It doesn't mind being held or sniffed by the dog so I think it's only half feral. We estimate the age to be 6-8 weeks old.
EDIT:
Called Animal Control, they will be picking her up after lunch. I can't wait any longer, i'm having very bad allergic symptoms including not wanting to breathe and my voice going wonky.
The Animal Control work with the local SPCA who run a no kill shelter here. I am sure with her charming personality and cute looks she'll get a home in no time.

Aww too cute. I'm in NY and already have 5 dogs and 2 kitties. I found one of mine outside actually, I believe she was abandoned by my neighbors when they moved because I know they had a cat and she showed up after they moved and kept meowing to my cat inside..so I finally coaxed her inside and she gradually became more friendly and i ended up keeping her C:
we found a kitten a few years back wandering the carpark of the local bank, we took him and spent a good hour or so trying to find a place to put the kitten >.< (pet shop wouldn't take him, vet wouldn't so we took him to the animal aid and im hoping he got a new home, he was a cute little black cat :3) we would have taken him ourselves if we weren't going to the uk pretty much the next month lol.
I can say from experience that anything linked to the ASPCA does a great job finding pets homes. She is so cute I doubt she will be at the shelter long.
I love gray tabbies. The kitten I fostered was a little gray tabby. He now resides with my fiance's best friend and his family.
