We've lately become more determined than ever not to lose any more years of our artistic development to the intrusive madness and pestilence suddenly now being sown around us all. At some point we realized that we could have been someone by now had this political storm ended after only five or ten or fifteen of were supposed to have been my life's best years.

We don't have a good way to work charcoal on newsprint any more, and having now lost our second job in a row due to the inherent structural vulnerabilties associated with being being a traumatized transgender individual in this civil apocalypse. Long story short, this has become the impetus to finally work at adjusting to a digital tablet with no screen since we have this ancient Wacom that we never really properly mastered.

If you're trying to transition, say, from physical to digital 2D media, but are finding the adjustment hard, consider investing ten or twenty hours in doing some basic mechanical hand/eye drills, e.g. the exercises suggested in this video:
