been playing "gargoyle's quest 2" for the nes the past couple of days.
really inspiring for my amateur pixel skills. lot of detail with such a small platform. anywho, i think this has been my game for the week.
as for the gal on the right,....just something i made up.
and yes, I absolutely love all 3 games, and i don't know why they're not more games like it.

Hell yeah! I remember the first time i saw those gargoyle quest games and i said "HEY isnt that that savage little bastard from Ghosts N Goblins?" That point was certainly driven home when i played Demons Crest @_@ I love that game and i dont know WTF is wrong with carpcom for never making any more.

yea, they fuck up ghosts N goblins with Maximo, and i hate that game cause its a sad excuse for it.
honestly, i don't think they should do another gargoyle game unless its side scrolling.
kinda like castlevania, only lamnent of innocence was lucky enough to be a good 3D castlevania,
all the others, side scrolling and thats what makes them awesome. lol

Yeah thats something that didnt occur to me, Fuggin Crapcom would just make it in that ugly 3D 2D style that they put EVERYGAME they make now in, you see what they did to megaman X!? (though the animated cut scenes were surprisingly good) They also made a Ghost N Goblins on PSP and seeing it in that 3D style was so infuriating.
OH yeahhhhhh i forgot about Maximo i donno WTF they were thinking with that series, it seemed like they were doing something else then said HAY lets make halfassed references to GnG

yea, but agree with you on megaman x,
it wasn't bad, it had its ups and downs, at least they didn't really fuck with the gameplay.
just when games are redone using 3d in a 2d game, the controls seem to slow down drastically, and that takes away from a lot of the adrenaline used in the game. at that point, its just learn to dance with characters, rather then, whose fingers move the fastest.

Actually Firebrand himself didnt have a tail (tho you can never go wrong with a big ropey tail IMO) BUT one of the boss versions of him Super GnG had one http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j.....emer_Small.jpg
You know, I wanted to see him transforming into those forms. I hoped that they would show it in Demon's Crest but they disappointed my young pervert self.
You know, muscles bulging, wings, fins spreading, at least once, when "experimenting" the crests, Megaman-style...
I wonder why they would call Firebrand Red Arreemer in Japan. Sort of Megaman/Rockman thing? Or was it a M.Bison/Vega/Balrog misunderstanding?
Capcom never learns to do it right.
