Lately I've been trying to find some of the books I used to read as a young child (4-8 years old or thereabouts). Not much luck so far as it was so long ago I forgot what the titles were.
Except for this one.
The sheer number of mechanical parts and gizmos lovingly illustrated in this book stuck with me ever since I first read it (when I was 4 or 5 years old). It made me want to to be an inventor when I grew up (brain: "ha-ha, no").
But there's anthropomorphic animals in it, so in some way it might have been effective after all...
Except for this one.
