I wish i had one program instead of this bunch. It's a bit tedious, passing files, recording manually. But at least the outcome is satisfying.^^

Noway you've just said that :P cubase effects and such are SO easy to use and program !

Maybe easy to use, but that program is not easy to master.

Yay!^^ I just found a way how to use Soundfonts by default instead of MIDIs. I can even hear them while composing in GP5. Can show ya if ya want.

Very cool, but I just use FL Studio (which is new to me, actually) to get everything to sound just right.

Doh! Yeah, I should grab one someday, too. That will hopefully keep me from switching between multiple programs all the time and therefore keep my sanity.^^

Wow. That's a lot. I only use Audacity and FL Studio. FL Studio to make drums, bass, keyboards, and Audacity to record guitars. You must have a confusing setup. :3

Kinda. I compose in Guitar Pro -> extract Midi to Synthfont, raw mastering the arrangement with Soundfonts, dynamics and stuff -> export WAV file to Cubase, then record bass, guitars and drums right from my soundcard when GP plays is solo -> put everything together -> synchronizing and final mastering. Yes, maybe a bit confusing.
So much just for orchestration. As I just said to Dabs, I should grab a copy of FL, to keep my sanity.^^

I rather prefer to play directly along with my Drum machine if I'm performing on instruments or vocals.

In the newer versions, you can record directly from guitar to FL Studio. :3

Hey man , I feel so stupid now, I bought cubase 5 for MILLIONS , a few monthes ago, ANYWAY now someone FINALLY cracked it ! I heard its possible to get cubase 5 for free, you should check it out lol

If I ever reach the limits of Cubase 3, I'll tell you. But for now I overly satisfied with this version.
