There's the whole concept of struggle and loss of power that can be appealing. Helpless and breathless, all that. :)

That I don't deny, though I still don't see how putting one's own character through such immense pain could be appealing (Tearing off your horn then nearly crushing you)

This second-to-last image has to be my favorite though, with the feet and tail just sliding slowly into the snake. Were it not deemed 'fatal' I'd have to say this would be one of my favorite images ever.

Totally nothing wrong with taking another angle on it where it's non-fatal. To each their own for maximum enjoyment says I! :D

I guess it could be considered the 'temporary' death of you, or the death of this current body (The flesh is weak, but the spirit is strong - or so they say). *shrugs* Open to viewer interpretation I guess o3o

I personally only use 'death' to label a permanent end to someone, where they don't get to commission another day D:
