Recently I purchased an adoptable from Dinky. I was inspired to draw him a full fledged reference sheet and finished this up recently.
Meet the colossus floof himself, Oruka. He's a giant dragon who tends to keep to himself. He thrives in cold climates and loves everything about it. His home tends to be an ice cave that's far from any sort of civilization except for the occasional human traveler passing by. If any come too close to his territory he has no problem making a quick snack of them. Sometimes he'll venture out to scope his territory for food or potential threats.
Although primarily an omnivore diet he still has preferences. Some of those favorites include fish, dolphins, whales, penguins and the occasional human. Sometimes this can even include Blue Whales and Sperm Whales if he happens to stumble upon any during his travels.
Seagulls are one of his biggest annoyances. They'll sometimes follow him in flocks, hoping to pick up any scraps he may leave behind. They also tend to be attracted to him just for his sheer size thinking he's an island out in the ocean.
Besides being primarily a grump he can be surprisingly gentle. To earn his trust takes time, patience and most of all respect. He's not a fun loving hugging type. Anyone who disrespects his boundaries will witness his unpleasant side.

He's the kind of creature ArchTeryx himself often studied in his travels as a xenobiologist / xenologist. The Aloof Giants take patience, understanding, and respect, but some of the richest treasure troves of knowledge he ever discovered about worlds he was exploring came from them. When they spoke, they almost always were worth listening to. And I'm sure Oruka is no exception.
Well... about his world and territory. He may hate most people, but bet he enjoys his territory (and knows it really well). That always was Arch's angle. The xenopologists handle the sapient cultures. Arch just handled the natural world.
It'd at least be a little different than one just looking to exploit him and his territory at least. Would it be enough? Might be a good story in there.
