"One of my least favorite things to do is doing recovery work in an active combat zone. I am no solder. I've never shot anyone. But I have a good track record when it comes to shipwrecks, so the GA sees that and puts me on a shortlist of people to call when one of their downed ships needs something recovered from it. They provide a strike team, of course, and I have some people I can call as well, but I still keep my head down until it's all clear. I'd rather not get shot more than once in my lifetime."
