Last time I went to a beach I wasn't even ten yet. Myrtle Beach before my parents finally got divorced. Heh, I remember my dad fishing off the beach and catching two manta rays on the same line. He called us down from the hotel room to see them then kicked them back into the ocean.
Eh, it happened over ten years ago so I'm not that broken up about it. That and well... long story short I've never been overly fond of my father for multiple reasons.
... that and the divorce happened when I was thirteen but I'd been trying to convince my mom to do it since elementary school.
Seriously, when your eight year old son says "You need to divorce Dad, he's really nasty to you." that means your marriage blows and the only one who can't see it is you. ._.;
