Personally I wouldn't own a DE, too big, too heavy, too expensive. Might as well carry a brick on your hip. Back pre-covid-19/ Current panic bullshit, for the cost of your average Desert Eagle, you could buy 2-3 better other handguns plus ammo. Outside the DE .50AE version (I call it the Sasquatch shooter), its seriously over rated.
You was a more practical Israeli Weapons Industry handgun, get the Baby Eagle, AKA Jericho 941, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IWI_Jericho_941
Got one in .40 myself, love it, and even that smaller version is a heavy lil cuss cause its all milled steel.

There was a comic (Leave it to Chance) where the cops had specially made bullets with silver, cold iron, wood and holy water. No, the never explained it in detail how that worked, they just showed this bullet with a quarter of it out of glass.
They did mention how expensive they were, but they were quickly at hand.
*shrug* they later had a werewolf cop which stayed in control because he Werewolf that bit him was literally a movie Werewolf (monsters came out of a b/w movie), so it was already a bit weird

Your attention to details is simply BREATHTAKING. The way you drew their outfits and THAT CHURCH is just a goal. Great poses and expressions, so full of life ;__;
And that last panel with the kiss... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm no shrink, but my guess is it would have to do with the loss of control... in particular, to some malevolent entity intent on doing harm to others through your body. It is frightening to think that something or someone could simply make you commit evil acts and you'd be powerless to stop it. Even as a Christian, with all the protection that's supposed to come with it, I think I share this fear. More than once I've imagined myself getting arrested and told I've done something evil... something which I have no memory of despite the evidence.
In those cases, the best case scenario is mental instability or trauma. That you've gone insane, even if only temporarily. Because if you're not crazy... then who was in control of your body while you were blacked out?
The loss of autonomy is bad enough. To become a puppet for evil? I think that's a whole other level of horror that sends a chill down the spine of many a person. I'd rather be conscious and aware when I'm doing something evil. I might be able to stop myself. And even if I can't, at least I can repent. I'm not sure how one deals with blood on your hands even when it's not your fault.
