As for me, EWS and I go way back... https://www.furaffinity.net/view/1234708/
Thanks. I'll give you a bit of history of them. Michael will be born on July 20, 2069. Around his 22 birthday, he contracts an airborne version of the HIV and is put into stasis. He awakens 20,000 years later into a world where anthros are the dominant species and humans are going extinct. He meets Amanda and has mixed feelings for her. His brain says she's an animal and he's horrified that he's falling in love with her. Bestiality and all that, you know. He eventually overcomes that idea and allows himself to love her. You can read their story under the "Michael and Amanda" chapters in my gallery.
Really? Actually, I started working on this story about 5 years ago after trying to put the story together in my mind for a couple of years. I had never seen "Demolition Man" until earlier this year. (I wasn't a big Sylvester Stallone fan until I saw him in "Oscar".)
I had become a fan of furry art and comics. I got to thinking, "What if all of these comics are true but, not in an alternate universe but far in the future?" Then I started working on the story in my head. Then, I saw where the Supreme Court had decided that since 38 states had laws recognizing gay marriage all states had to have such a law. That got me to thinking about falling in love with someone who, for whatever reason, your brain might not accept. That's how I came up with the idea of Michael, a human, finding himself falling in love with Amanda, an anthropomorphic tiger-striped red fox vixen. In other words, I wrote this story for an old man, myself, to understand and accept how much the world has changed in the last 65 years.

I was always a Stallone fan since i was a kid as he's one of my fave actors and inspirations.
And i love your story, one of my faves.
Brain might not accept? because of people who are different? why do people fear what is different? afterall like Storm in X-Men TAS once said "People fear what they do not understand".

In re Storm's quote: That's very true and emotions, especially love, are something most people do not understand. It's kind of hard to explain what I meant by your brain accepting who you love. The heart is accepting of your emotional feelings toward someone. Your brain, on the other hand, might want to be a bit difficult to convince. So, as the story has progressed, Michael's heart keeps telling him that Amanda's the one for him but his brain drags its feet, even going so far as to carry on conversations with him telling him it's wrong to love Amanda because "she's an animal". That's basically what I meant by the brain not accepting who you might love. These days, it's a lot easier to openly admit to gay or interracial attractions. When I was born and growing up, those things weren't just frowned upon, they were illegal.
Love has no boundaries! and since your a guy who's 39 and i'm 38, interspecies relationships were rare back in the times we grew up with! i mean Alien Nation (movies/TV show/books), Beauty and the Beast series with Ron Perlman (remember that? any furry back in the 80s would know), Roger and Jessica, Mighty Mouse New Adventures's Polly and Murray (human man and mouse lady), Marvel comics (Howard and Beverly Hepzibah and Corsair Lilandra and Xavier a mutant with a bird woman and all), Star Trek etc.
Nowadays thanks to Hatton Slayden's artworks (ever seen his art?), Bojack Horseman, Regular Show, Doctor Who, Star Wars and more it's now getting more acceptance.
