Please to ignore the missing hand and half-finished finger stumps. Look at the belly for it is a clay delight.
I am really super loving this project. I've been working on it for two days and it's really developing super well with minimal difficulties. Cyclopedia Anatomicae is pretty helpful to muscle placement, but a computer full of pictures of muscle men is more helpful for how those muscles look under tasty man skin.
I built the armature out of aluminum wire, screwed it to a wooden base. So now it's permanently attached to a rough wooden block. In the future I will plan for much more removable bases. The armature is secured together using plumber's epoxy and then covered in gray sculpy (a blend of 1 full block of skin colored super sculpy, 1 brick of white, and half a brick of black) which I then sculpted using my magical artistic talents. It's funny how drawing a lot makes you pretty good at carving and sculpting. I haven't worked in 3d for years and this just kinda... came together so perfectly in a matter of a couple days. I am SO unbelievably satisfied with how this is turning out I could just slap myself for being such a smug bastard.
Points who can identify any of the action figures on the shelf behind him.
