HAPPYFACES has been doing a lot of neat art, and they sent me this sketch! Heh, as you can see them and myself have been trading art blows for a little while this week. I really do love art...I decided to colour it, making it a sort of impromptu art collab. They've got a really unique style and some wonderful world-building, so I'd recommend them. As you can probably tell their artwork is a little more grim than my more uh, cutesy style, which I think is really good because having a variety of feelings you can convey with your art is quite important.

Drake's first taste of the prejudice deeply ingrained in post-Passage culture was demoralizing at best. Devastating, at worst.
Kobolds got a bad rep because of their earliest forefathers detaching from modernity to live as nomads, off whatever land isn't touched by humanity. This spawned what can only be described as a "stereotypical kobold", the few tribal-born 'bolds that ended up as vagabonds and rogue thieves.
Obviously, having a mute kobold friend in this new world didn't quite do wonders for the visitor's perceptions. If he could speak, he'd've told her about all the wonderful people he got to meet.
The next time it happened, the cork popped off the proverbial potion. And it was not made any better by her new skills.
