wayc for an avatar (this is the full version) and because, well, Licktiung is totally underloved. I love her cute pose and expression. I'm glad that I cute-ified her eyes rather than gave her the beady eyes that Lickitung usually have. Just makes it looks a little nicer in my opinion, though ohnoes, I'm not being a purist.
Though, for that matter, I couldn't help but give her a bit of a chest, too... X3 Just seemed... appropriate.

and you're right, lickitungs are so underloved that it should be a crime.
and i just love the soft blend of the colors, it's so well done. also i like how your lines are so nice and smooth. that's my trouble area for drawing. got any tips? ^ ^;;

You know, I have pretty shaky hands when I'm drawing, actually. It really stinks. So I draw all of my lineart in Flash 8 (or higher) using the Brush tool with pressure sensitivity. It does a nice job on making the lines just right and still dynamic.
Photoshop or GIMP aren't super tablet friendly, whereas some programs like openCanvas, Flash, and Paint Tool SAI are much better because they smooth out the lines as you draw with them most of the time and work very well with tablets.
And if that fails, learning how to use the line tool, pen tool, or whatever other sort of vector line tool can make for some fantastic lines. I only do that if I really want something set though.

I don't know for sure if it exists, but I do know that GIMP can be extended through plugins, so maybe there's a plugin that would help improve library functionality? I dunno, haha. Your old crappy version of oC is probably the same as mine, which feels older than the sands of time, but it tends to do at least a fair job in line smoothing.

Thank you sooooo much! <333 This was the very first thing I saw when I looked in my submission panel even though it wasn't in the first row. Hehe. You should have seen the grin on my face when I saw it... I even giggled a little bit. I had a bad night with a couple scary nightmares and other dreams that were good but sad in that they weren't real... this really cheered me up. <3
