It... uh... at least from what I've seen, a bit of bad taste.

They put in the proper tag, but it just feels like bad timing is all. Not a bad character, just a bad aesthetic at the currently moment.

Guns are lethal - use darts or tranquilizers - something that puts them down. Not KEEP them down.

Maybe it's not an issue in Japan. Personally I don't believe in "anti cop" though it is bad what has happened within the police force. Even though those are just individuals and not the force as a whole.
